The deputy of the Democratic Party, Luan Baçi, in a statement to the media, accused SPAK prosecutor Dritan Prenc for the investigations into the Fier incinerator affair.

Baçi underlines that 11 deputies of the Democratic Party have addressed SPAK and the High Inspector of Justice, informing them of the serious violations of prosecutor Dritan Prençi, who hid evidence so that senior officials of Edi Rama could go free wet.

"These major state crimes, abuses of hundreds of millions of euros committed by Rama, Veliaj and their thief-mafia clan, are the reasons why the opposition seeks to silence them by arresting, without any evidence, the leader Sali Berisha", says Baçi.

11 deputies of the Democratic Party, including myself, have addressed SPAK and the High Inspector of Justice, informing them of the serious violations of prosecutor Dritan Prençi, who has hidden evidence that senior officials of Edi Let's go out without getting wet.
Prosecutor Dritan Premçi deliberately destroyed the evidence directly involving Damian Gjiknur, Armando Subash, Engjëll Agaçin and many other officials of the Ministry of Finance, NJZP, etc. in the affair of the Fier incinerator.
These were highlighted by judge Flojera Davidhi.
In the Fier Incinerator case, the Judge of the Preliminary Session, with decision no. 26, of March 24, 2023 decided "Sending the case to trial for the Fieri Incinerator". In point 100, Judge Davidhi, evidences that the investigations carried out by the SPAK Prosecutor's Office (Dritan Prençit) are incomplete, shallow, partial, deviated, and selective.
These actions of the Prosecutor Dritan Prençi exceed the disciplinary responsibility towards him, and are illegal actions punishable by criminal law, since it is the Prosecutor Prençi, who in the present case turns out to have intentionally committed the criminal offense of "Abuse of Duty", provided for by Article 248 of the Criminal Code.
The prosecutor, who has the duty to carry out full investigations, closed the investigations within two weeks and did not investigate the citizens mentioned in the control acts of the SSC and the Ministry of Finance.
We want to reiterate what has been presented from this platform since 3 weeks ago, that the same prosecutor is hiding the data of the confidential report of KLSH, is hiding the audits carried out by the Ministry of Finance, is hiding the evidence which is reflected by Altin Dumani in the file investigation for Arben Ahmetaj, where Erion Veliaj and Edi Rama are directly implicated.
As you can see, these are not political accusations nor interpretations that can denigrate the figure of the prosecutors.
We are simply presenting to the Albanian citizens and the justice institutions themselves, official state documents which are deliberately left out of the focus of the investigation by the justice system itself, in order to close once and for all the mega affair of the incinerators, which should have been investigated as a structured criminal group.
This deviation of the criminal investigation, this illegality, has brought about the favoring of the persons who were left out of this criminal proceeding.
The serious violations found in the above-mentioned decision constitute an obligation for the initiation of procedures by the institutions of Justice, according to the legal provisions in force.
These major state crimes, embezzlement of hundreds of millions of euros committed by Rama, Veliaj and their mafia-thief clan, are the reasons why the opposition seeks to silence them by arresting, without any evidence, the leader Sali Berisha.
For this reason, we ask the citizens of Fier and all of Albania to join the opposition action: Today, never!/ CNA
