The "Gërdeci" file/ Fatmir Mediu, again at GJKKO

This Wednesday morning, former minister Fatmir Mediu appeared in the Court against Corruption and Organized Crime.

GJKKO has called 71 witnesses in the trial for the explosion of the dismantling factory.

So far, 40 of the witnesses have been questioned and another 31 are expected to be questioned.

We remind you that the Special Structure against Corruption and Organized Crime accuses Mediu of "abuse of duty" and "abuse of duty in cooperation with military command staff" regarding the Gërdec explosion file.

The lawyers of former minister Fatmir Mediu have requested that the case be dismissed for the effect of anticipation, since according to them their client is not to blame for the state's inaction over the years./  CNA
