Approval of the draft resolution by the CDI for Albania/ Berisha: Cartels

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, delivered his speech after the approval of the draft resolution by the CDI.

In his speech, Berisha said that the situation in Albania is a real threat not only for the country, but also for the region and beyond.

Further in his speech, the Democrat leader stated that Albania's drugs are now dominating the European market and dictating the price of cocaine.

The chief democrat said that the construction index in Albania is three times higher than the EU average index, as the government is strongly linked to cartels.

“ Once again, thank you very much Mr. President. I would like to thank the CDI as the first international organization to adopt a very useful and serious resolution on Albania as the first and only narco-state in Europe. Since then, Mr. President, further developments have proven that the situation has deteriorated and has become a real threat, not only to my nation, but also to the security of the region and beyond.

Today, Albania is the number one exporter, exporter of marijuana in Europe. It is now the drug of Albania, Albanian cocaine clans that dominate the cocaine market in Europe and dictate cocaine prices throughout Europe.

If you look at our economy, it has been terribly damaged by such drug billionaires.

This is industrial production, agricultural production and exports that are failing year after year. While there is one sector that is increasingly flourishing, and that is construction.

The construction index in Albania is three times higher than the EU average. The government is strongly linked to the cartels and Albanian drug lords. The government is already tested. The Prime Minister personally received the top leaders of the Mexican Sinaloa, who are 4 Albanian brothers. He sent a special charter from Tirana to Aruba for a special meeting with the Albanian drug lords in Latin America. Now, all this effect of this terrible toxic money for my country is destroying the country. In 10 years, for the EU area alone 1,099,000 Albanians left the country, not counting those who left for regions of the world.

Secondly, drugs and drug dealers appoint ministers, MPs appoint judges, police directors. But what are the biggest difficulties for us as the opposition?

In Europe, no one will listen to us talk about the narco-state. This is a big problem. We do it for the sake of our nation, but we also do it for the sake of other nations. And I believe it is evident, they do not speak. On the contrary, sometimes they attack us because we talk about the narco-state. Anyone who reads and watches, Albania meets all the criteria to be a narco-state. The very fact that Albania is destroyed by the elections is a complete part of Mr. President, Secretary General of the CDI, old friend Isturiz and other people of the CDI came to our elections. They saw what the popular support was, but the problem is that the drug cartels are stronger than any party and they dictate the results.
