"Time to free Albania from the looters"/ DP demands Rama's

The Democratic Party today demanded the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and his prosecution.

Through a statement, the DP states that this is the time to free the country from politicians who have taken the country hostage and are robbing it every day.

Full statement:

Wednesday's 7-hour meeting at the Prime Minister's Office, immediately after the Court's decision to suspend the Deputy Prime Minister from office, which was accompanied by mutual accusations and pressure between Rama and Balluku, was nothing more than a typical mafia meeting to find a way out and save Edi Rama from criminal prosecution.

His opposition to dismissing Belinda Balluku, hiding behind the twists and turns of jurisprudence, which he does not actually understand, is nothing more than rants to hide a truth that is now as clear as daylight: the person who ordered the theft of 50 million euros in the Llogara Tunnel has a name, and that is Edi Rama.

This individual is also directly responsible for the theft of the Vlora Tigri 1 and Tigri 3 power plants, the Great Ring Road, road concessions worth hundreds of millions of euros, and for every other charge that the executor, but not the orderer, is facing.

In order to uncover the truth and bring those responsible to justice, the Democratic Party demands the resignation of Edi Rama and Lubi Balluku, and their bringing to justice, removing the possibility of influencing or destroying evidence. This should pave the way for new, free and fair elections.

The Democratic Party accuses Edi Rama of being the man who, through his actions, is trying to prevent the truth from being revealed about a criminal offense in which he is in the role of organizer and orderer.

The Democratic Party invites citizens to join the Civic-Parliamentary Pulpit in front of the Prime Minister's Office on Monday, the 24th, to say stop to corruption, to taking the country hostage, and to bring to justice the thieves who stole the elections to steal Albania. /CNA
