Begaj pays tribute to the slain officer/ Family members demand accountability: You are killing us, be smart

President Bajram Begaj participated in the tributes in honor of the slain officer Enea Mekolli.

Mekolli's relatives have held Begaj accountable, saying that they must take measures to ensure that criminals do not roam free, as according to them, there have been several actions to capture the perpetrator of the crime, Violand Braçellari.

"You left this country in the hands of criminals. You closed the door on us, don't leave the criminals behind. There have been three attempts to arrest you, you must take action, you are killing us, get over yourself, you left this country in the hands of criminals, criminals are ruling every corner of Albania. The police do not dominate, but crime dominates. We are sinking. You brought us to the bottom. There were no protective measures," Begaj's family members addressed./ CNA
