Investigations into the serious incident in Lozhan, where as a result of the exchange of fire, officer Enea Mekolli was killed and Edison Adri was injured, have discovered 3 weapons in the tent where Violand Braçellari was hiding, the Kalashnikov rifle with which he shot at the police, a model 56 rifle and a pair of pistols.

No ammunition was found during the searches, which leads one to believe that Braçellari used the entire arsenal he possessed to shoot at the officers involved in the operation to capture him.

In the place where the wanted man was hiding, the police also found a police radio and during the operation, the officers turned off their radios so as not to interfere with Braçellari's.

From the investigations of the Prosecutor's Office and the AMP regarding the implementation of the procedure and protocol by the Korça Police Directorate, no violations have been found.

Regarding the lack of a request by the Korça Police for RENEA forces or the operational force, the investigative group states that the Korça Police correctly assessed the dangerousness of Braçellari, who was convicted of Production and sale of narcotics and not for serious criminal offenses related to life.
