Prime Minister Edi Rama was present this Friday at the opening of the 2025-2026 Academic Year of the College of Europe branch in Tirana.
Rama began his speech with a joke with those present about the weather in Tirana.
"We made sure you had a gray sky, as a sign of solidarity, like the campuses in Natolin and Bruges," Rama said.
The Prime Minister further focused on Albania's stance towards the EU, which he described as a fresh dream, with great faith in Europe.
"Albania is a very rare country, where the European dream is still fresh and unfaded like a believable noise in the background. Trust in Europe is at a very high level. Europe is not geography, it is a choice, a decision to choose cooperation in the face of conflict, dialogue in the face of shouting and stereotypes," said Rama. /CNA
