EU Summit today in Tirana / The agenda is revealed from the reception of the

Tirana will host today the Growth Plan Summit, “Our Path to the EU.” This summit is expected to bring together Western Balkan leaders, European Union Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos, senior representatives from the European Commission, as well as regional organizations.

The summit will discuss the Growth Plan, economic integration and the transformation of the region towards the European Union Market, which promotes a favorable environment for innovation, entrepreneurship and technological progress and creates new opportunities for sustainable development and competitiveness.

The summit will develop the works conceived in two discussion panels: "Shaping new initiatives, with benefits for citizens and business" and "Fulfilling joint commitments - Results and acceleration", where the Roadmap for the Western Balkans will be launched and there will be discussions on the positioning of the region in the EU AI ecosystem, green lanes, cooperation in the field of tourism, on progress and next steps towards the regional common market, etc.  

Prime Minister Rama will host the leaders of Kosovo, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia and Serbia, as well as EU Enlargement Commissioner Marta Kos, at the Brigades Palace. Rama and Kos will address the Summit with a speech at the start of its proceedings, while after its conclusion, they will hold a joint press conference.
