The Chairman of the Socialist Party Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, held a meeting this Thursday with the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Tirana, Karl Bergner.

As reported, the focus of the conversation was on Albania-Germany bilateral relations, cooperation projects and the continued support that Germany provides to Albania in the European integration process.

During the meeting, the level of partnership between the two countries was assessed, while further strengthening of parliamentary cooperation and initiatives that contribute to the economic and institutional development of the country were also discussed.

Both sides underlined the importance of continuing dialogue and close cooperation between Albania and Germany.

"I welcomed in a meeting the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Tirana Karl Bergner. Germany ranks first with the direct support granted to Albania. Today, Albania and Germany have the highest historical level of excellent bilateral relations and within the framework of the organizations to which our two countries adhere.
