SP MP Ulsi Manja spoke about the 2026 draft budget, stating that it guarantees the well-being of citizens and consolidates public finances.

"Every time the budget discussion session comes to the Assembly, we tell everyone that it is the most important session in the life of the parliament. We do not expect you to applaud our budget, because this session clearly shows the political difference between our two sides, and this budget is related to the 2025-2030 government vision. We are not all economists or financiers, we are from different professions, but we know how to read the budget figures. The Democratic Party's budget was said. Neither this budget nor our budgets over the past 12 years are comparable. It is over 9 billion euros. This budget guarantees the well-being of citizens, this budget consolidates public finances. Public debt is declining. The budget has been distributed in such a way that it guarantees a comprehensive development of the economy," said Manja.

Further, Manja mocked the opposition MPs by telling them that when they meet people for a Facebook photo, they should not wear clothes that cost 5-6 thousand euros.

"When you go to people's houses to take photos on Facebook, don't go wearing clothes worth 5,000-6,000 euros because that's a sin," declared Manja./ CNA
