The budget and 8 draft laws of the fiscal package are approved in the marathon

The Assembly has approved the 2026 Draft Budget and 8 draft laws of the fiscal package in a marathon session.

The budget worth 8.8 billion euros received 83 votes in favor from the majority, while the opposition voted against.

The draft law “On some amendments and additions to law no. 9920, dated 19.5.2008, “On tax procedures in the Republic of Albania”, as amended, was voted with 83 votes in favor and 31 against.

The draft law "On some amendments to Law No. 92/2014, "On Value Added Tax in the Republic of Albania" was voted with 83 votes in favor and 32 against.

The draft law "On some amendments and additions to law no. 29, dated 30.3.2023, "On income tax" was voted with 83 votes in favor and 32 against.

The draft law “On some additions to law no. 9632, dated 30.10.2006, “On the local tax system”, as amended, was voted with 82 votes in favor and 32 against.

Socialist MP Erion Braçe did not vote for this bill.

The draft law "On the invoice and the circulation monitoring system", as amended, was voted with 83 votes in favor and 32 against.

The draft law "On the Fiscal Peace Agreement" was voted with 82 votes in favor and 32 against.

Socialist MP Vullnet Sinaj did not vote for this bill.

The draft law "On the revaluation of immovable property" was voted with 83 votes in favor and 31 against.

The draft law "On the cancellation, extinguishment and payment of tax liabilities to the central tax administration and of duties payable to customs" was voted with 82 votes in favor and 30 against.

And this bill was not voted for by the socialist Vullnet Sinaj./CNA
