The Minister of Justice, Ulsi Manja, spoke about the suicide of Pal Trashaj, after the problem he had with Micro Credit Albania.

Manja said that the authorities will clarify the phenomenon, while declaring that the Ministry of Justice will propose changing the private enforcement law.

He stated that powers should be given to the Minister of Justice for measures when there is a violation of the integrity of the profession. 

"Cases like Pal Trashaj's can be postponed by political rhetoric in the Assembly hall. There is a need for a review of the regulatory framework regarding microcredits. We will clarify the phenomenon.

Very soon, the Ministry of Justice will present to the Assembly the amendment of the private executive law. We must give powers to the Minister of Justice for measures when there is a violation of the integrity of the profession. With the new law, more powers will be given to the Ministry of Justice to intervene in relation to the disciplinary investigation. Even the Bank of Albania will come with changes in the legal framework. We have discussed with the Bank of Albania", emphasized the minister./ CNA
