Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted to the re-election of Roberta Metsola as President of the European Parliament.

Through a status on social networks, Rama says that the reconfirmation of Metsola is a proof of her reliable leadership.

According to him, the re-election of Metsola as president of the EP is also very good news for Albania, which is working to become part of the EU.

"Warm congratulations to Roberta Metsola, for her re-election as President of the European Parliament. The reconfirmation of confidence by the European House of Democracy with an extraordinary vote of 562 votes is a testament to her reliable leadership, energy and vision at the head of one of the key institutions of the European Union in these challenging times for all.
