At the meeting of the Democratic Party Presidency, held on Monday, March 16, several important dates were set for the party's internal electoral process.

According to the DP, April 30 is the deadline for completing the process of electing chairmen and chairwomen in the party's branches. Elections for the chairman of the Democratic Party will be held on May 23. Meanwhile, the DP National Assembly will be held on June 6, where the new leadership structures and political decision-making are expected to be formalized.

The setting of the election date comes at a time when, not only within the Democratic Party, but also in Albanian politics, there is a tense climate with numerous developments.
