Opposition protests/Journalist: They are being done to exclude opponents within

Journalist Lavdrim Lita, in a television appearance while speaking about the political situation in the country, said that each party has harmed Albanians and only sees their interests.

Lita said that attention should be turned away from misgovernment as people are in a difficult economic situation.

Regarding the opposition protests, Lita stated that they are being carried out as a campaign within the DP and are being done only to exclude Berisha's opponents within the party.

 

" The political parties, the government and the opposition, one talks about Balluk, Balluk's immunity, the AKSHI, the accidents that are happening with the justice system, with the mayors... The Democratic Party is busy trying to sew another suit for Berisha. Both political parties have caused accidents to Albanians, they have led them to the gutter, they have lowered their heads. I think we should turn our attention away from the government, from misgovernance. We are in our fourth mandate. People are not able to make it to the end of the month at home. They have hundreds of problems. The cost of living has increased and we are dealing with the navel of Gaz Bardhi and the Democratic Party. The protests themselves are taking place under the conditions of the election campaign within the Democratic Party. They are being held with the aim of declaring this emergency, in order to radicalize the situation and prevent anyone from presenting a political platform for the opposition leader. Because anyone who names a name, puts forward a political platform is told "you are a traitor, how are you ruining our protest? "We will overthrow Edi Rama next week." So, the state of emergency that Berisha has created for six months with protests every 10 days is done with the sole purpose of excluding alternatives within the party," said Lita.
