Violence in schools/ Kapri criticizes Kumbaro: Insufficient measures to increase

MP Erald Kapri was involved in numerous discussions today, as he also delivered his speech in the Assembly, where a little earlier he had requested an interpellation with the Minister of Arsimir, Mirela Kumbaro.

Kapr criticized the measure taken to increase security personnel in schools as insufficient, while also raising accusations of institutional responsibility in the ministry's structures for the phenomenon of violence in the country's schools. 

"I called this interpellation with Minister Kumbaro about the phenomenon that is eroding Albanian families, which is violence in schools.

And more than a year ago we were all shocked by the murder of 14-year-old Martin Cami and after that event the Government launched a rampant propaganda, as well as a preliminary censorship, although this is prohibited by the Constitution, closing the social network Tik Tok. The extent of the violence for which the Government censors schools is frightening. The ministry itself reports a minimum of 2500 cases per year of violence within Albanian schools. Save the Children has conducted a very serious study in Albanian schools and says at least 40% of Albanian children in the preschool system have experienced violence and what is worse is that it says that only half have reported it, half, that is, only 20%, the ministry knows, the other half is not reported for other reasons. So violence as a phenomenon in Albanian schools is twice as high as the Government itself knows.

 Now you can be sure that Minister Kumbaro will come here and say our solution is 160 new school security officers and we will bring them in very soon. So that's what the Government is offering, poorly paid security officers with minimal salary and even untrained ones, but what Minister Kumbaro will not talk about here is the model: and Minister Kumbaro's model is Arta Dollani.
