Berisha's statements on 'January 21'/ Balla: Saliu the political

Minister of State, Taulant Balla, has reacted with a video published on social networks, following Sali Berisha's recent statements regarding the killings of protesters on January 21, 2011 on the boulevard, which the former prime minister called an "unintentional state crime."

In his post, Balla compares the latest statement of the DP leader with what he had stated in January 2011 when he spoke about the reaction from snipers.

"Woouu, has his stance changed?! Look at what he says today, what he said yesterday (before)," Balla writes, accompanying the video with the former prime minister's 2011 statement, where he states: 

"If you touch the smallest thing, there will be 5 snipers, four on all four sides and me in that window, and you will absolutely be hit. Only if the bullet penetrates."

In his political rhetoric, Minister Balla has often accused Sali Berisha of ordering state crimes and on the 14th anniversary of the event this year, he stated that the relatives are still waiting for justice. /CNA
