SPAK communicated the charges/ Meta: Here are the 2 official requests I raised

The leader of the Freedom Party, Ilir Meta, has reacted from his cell regarding the communication regarding the closure of the investigations against him by the Special Prosecution Office.

Through a post on his social networks, Meta states that since the last meeting with SPAK prosecutors, together with his lawyer, he has raised two official requests for investigations in two directions.

"I welcome the official closure of the fabricated investigation launched in December 2019.

Nothing new from the last meeting on May 27th with SPAK prosecutors.

We strongly and officially raised the request to responsibly investigate who made illegal payments on behalf of the LSI to companies in the US and secondly, to whom they sent the invoices for approval to the Freedom Party, the company GSIS.

"The failure to investigate these two directions is only a consequence of a political dictate, since from a legal and professional point of view this is the simplest thing that can be done and should have been done two years ago," Meta writes./CNA
