Report for May 11/ Berisha: Igli Hasani threatening letter to OSCE

The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, published a letter at a media conference.

According to Berisha, the published letter was sent to the OSCE mission by Foreign Minister Igli Hasani in relation to the published report on the May 11 elections.

The chief democrat said that the letter sent by Hasani is threatening and was sent as soon as the report was read.

" The electoral farce of May 11, 2025 is the ugliest electoral process in 32 years after the fall of the Iron Curtain.

It is the most discredited process. It is the most corrupt process. Here we have consistently presented hundreds of irrefutable facts and documents of the use of over 1 billion and 20 million euros of budget money for the purpose of buying and influencing votes.

The organization of over 4,500 activities, more than three other years combined, in the last 4 months before the elections, prohibited by law. Half a billion procurements prohibited by law before the elections.

Arming electoral patronage terrorists with citizens' data to flatter and threaten them. Signing licenses for planting cannabis in quantities 140 times larger than what the law provides. We have presented before you the extreme manipulation of the diaspora vote. But you are witnesses that here, from this hall, from the European Parliament and the OSCE parliamentary assembly, I have denounced with the greatest force the threats, the pressures of Edi Rama and Minister Igli Hasani against international observers in order for them to change the report. As I have informed you, the laptop is making great transparency. Here before you today I have brought the threatening letter that the foreign minister of the narcostate, Igli Hasani, addressed on May 12, as soon as the report is read, to Ms. Farah Karimi, special coordinator and leader of the OSCE short-term mission. Ambassador Lamberto Zannier, Head of the ODIHR observer mission. Mr. Bjorn Soder, Head of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Delegation. Mr. Simone Billi, Head of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly Delegation. And Mr. Michael Gahler, Head of the European Parliament Delegation. Look at the banditry, they have just issued the communiqué, this letter is addressed to them. After the courtesy, the letter states: 'Regarding the statement of preliminary findings and conclusions, I would like to convey to you the expectation that these reports accurately reflect the realities observed on the ground during the electoral process.' And he continues: 'In this regard, I want to express serious concern (imagine what kind of mafiosi these people are, they have just read the report, and this one seems to have taken a copy from them first) regarding the introductory paragraph of the statement, in which a deeply negative and unbalanced presentation of the 2025 parliamentary elections is made, in our view ,' Berisha said./ CNA
