The Government approves the National Tourism Strategy 2030

The Ministry of Tourism and Environment, Mirela Kumbaro, announced through a status on social networks that the government has approved the National Tourism Strategy 2030.

Kumbaro writes that the approval came after a 2-year process of research and consultations.

The minister says that this strategy sets clear objectives for increasing tourism revenues by 2030.

The National Tourism Strategy was drafted in partnership with GIZ Albania.

" The last day of July also comes with the finalization of a good job."

The Albanian Government today approved the National Tourism Strategy 2030, after a nearly two-year process of research, studies and consultations, while this strategy sets clear and measurable objectives for increasing tourism revenues by 2030, accompanied by an increase in accommodation capacities and improvement of standards, the division of Albania into six tourist regions and new tasks for state agencies related to the tourism industry.

Today I would like to thank all the staff of the Ministry of Tourism and Environment, the dozens of specialists who were involved in the drafting of this strategy, and of course our partners at GIZ Albania who make a valuable contribution to the development of sustainable tourism.
