After all appeal processes were closed, the KAS officially requested the State Election Commissioner to launch an investigation into the differences found in the recount process of ballot boxes in several districts.

The request comes after the KAS, in its relevant decisions, has requested investigations according to the districts where the differences were found.

"The recount and re-evaluation of votes in these electoral zones proved in several cases significant discrepancies between the result tables of the counting groups from the respective CEAZs and the actual state of the ballot papers in the boxes during the recount process in the appeal procedure at the KAS."

These discrepancies should be investigated in a further administrative process by you to identify the members of the Vote Counting Groups.

"Further administrative investigation into the above-mentioned cases is of particular importance, because referring to the results obtained from the recount in the appeal procedure at the KAS, it results that, in a number of tables of vote counting and evaluation results, the discrepancies between the results approved by the GNVs, with those resulting on the ballots, are such that prima facie indicate that there is manipulation of the vote results by the members of the GNVs for special cases," the KAS letter states./ CNA
