The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, has published on social networks a message from a citizen, who says that while using the e-Albania portal, a character resembling the Speaker of Parliament Spiropali appears.

Alongside the citizen's message, Berisha writes that this is disgusting.

Dear doctor, I greet you with respect.

I would like to inform you about a detail that caught my eye while using the official E-Albania portal. The avatar that appears as a “virtual secretary” on this platform closely resembles the public figure of Ms. Elisa Spiropali. This has created an unpleasant feeling for me, especially in the context of a political climate where the impression is often created that every public institution is being symbolically personalized or privatized.

From the construction of the palace in the center of Tirana with a shape resembling a portrait, to this avatar resembling a political representative — all of these elements send an ambiguous message and can affect the public's perception of state institutions.

I make this observation simply as a citizen who wants a public administration that is as neutral and representative as possible for everyone.
