The soap opera continues between two "Sorosians", Adriatik Lapaj and Endrit Shabani for the only mandate won in the May 11 elections.

During an interview with A2Cnn, Lapaj stated that the disputes that emerged after the electoral process are part of a democratic exercise, where the parties sometimes disagree, but according to him, the path to resolution was never through "paralegal institutions."

"We did not go to paralegal institutions to resolve disputes through force. We went to legal institutions, like the CEC and the KAS," Lapaj declared.

He later spoke about the rift with Endrit Shabani, for whom he stated that despite the warnings he had been given about him, he did not expect that he could commit a suicide attack.

"I never thought that someone could commit a suicide attack on the political journey of change in Albania," Lapaj continued.

Among other things, he commented on his statement that if his party only received one mandate, it would not enter Parliament, Lapaj emphasized that it was made in order to motivate the team.

"I asked Shabani, in the presence of Mr. Soko, to resign the mandate. The mandate would be taken by the second most voted person of 'Albania Becomes'," said Lapaj./ CNA
