"570 videos to prove the farce"/ Këlliçi: SP Commissioners

The elected DP MP for Tirana, Belind Këlliçi, declared today that the Democratic Party has prepared voluminous material with around 570 videos to prove violations in the May 11 elections.

In a television interview, Këlliçi accused that there were SP commissioners who threatened voters.

Këlliçi added that, among other things, 400 cases of family voting have been identified.

"We have completed a voluminous material, around 570 authentic videos, which are part of the voting centers, in the Tirana district and in the peripheral areas of Tirana, where all the violations that we have shown to citizens in other cities are phenomena that are not isolated.

So, in Tirana, there were SP commissioners who threatened voters, entered the secret room to dictate their vote, took their ballots, they are captured on video footage, to check the vote and then threw the ballots in the box. All of this is recorded on video and the names of the commissioners as to who they are. They will be made public in the coming days.

There are 400 cases of family voting, of intimidation of them, of fake badges. Many cases are in the Municipality of Vora, where there were physical clashes between DP deputies. But in the meantime, they are not giving us footage of hundreds of voting in Tirana where we have reasonable suspicions of vote manipulation. Surprisingly, now they are saying that in some centers there were problems with filming, such as in Krraba or Zall Bastar. It is a legal obligation that the cameras must be turned on", said Këlliçi. /CNA
