The Prison Directorate rejects Meta's claims: None of his rights have been

The Prison Directorate has rejected Meta's claims that he has been denied his rights in his cell and is not allowed to have meetings.

In a reaction to the media, the Directorate says that Meta's rights have not been violated based on the Criminal Code and every convict has the right to unlimited communication from a phone booth.

The response also states that prisoners can also have Skype conversations.

 

" Meta is in the capacity of a pre-trial detainee, he is currently staying in a room alone and we guarantee that no rights have been violated against him based on prison regulations and the code of criminal procedure." 

He has not filed any complaints regarding his treatment in terms of living and housing at the institution 313.

"Every convict has the right to unlimited telephone communication from their cell, and upon their request, they can also communicate via Skype. We, as an institution, guarantee this with full responsibility ," the response states./ CNA
