The Chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, in a press conference held today, said that the meeting of the municipal council in the Municipality of Tirana is required to be held behind closed doors.
Berisha said that the law clearly states that council meetings must be open to the media. The DP leader stated that it is an obligation for council meetings in municipalities to be open to the media.
" I have no information about what their agenda is, but I have information that they want to do it behind closed doors like the mafia. At a time when the law and regulation of the council is a parliament, the Tirana Municipal Council is the parliament of the citizens of Tirana.
