Prime Minister Edi Rama shared a reaction today regarding the area with sun loungers and beach umbrellas in Lalëz.
Through a post on social media, Rama states that many people woke up as occupiers with hundreds of tents and went to bed as if they had been driven away with their hands in their pockets.
According to Rama, the release of the public beach is just the first step in a new approach to the coast.
"Is it worth losing all these sun loungers and umbrellas to challenge the state?!"
"I don't know, these people know - in Lalëz they woke up like occupiers with hundreds of tents and they woke up like they were being chased away with their hands in their pockets - but this year's turn with public beaches is just the first step of a new approach to the seaside, which belongs to all Albanians, not just a few merchants," Rama said. /CNA
