Lapaj drags on for mandate/ 'Cries' at KAS

After suffering badly and not having his scenario realized, despite filling the lists with relatives, Adriatik Lapaj continues to drag on for the only mandate that Albania Becomes won in the May 11 elections.

Finally, the Albania Becomes movement appealed to the KAS regarding the distribution of mandates.

"Acknowledge the resignations of candidates on closed lists," Lapaj demands from KAS.

"In conclusion, we request: 1. Amendment of Decision No. dated 23.07.2025, of the Central Election Commission "On the appointment of the winning candidates of the electoral subject Coalition "Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet" in the Tirana District electoral zone, for the Assembly elections of May 11, 2025.

2. Failure to recognize as valid the revocation of the resignations filed respectively on 15.07.2025 by Zeqir Kordhoni and on 17.07.2025 by Kleana Xhuveli.

3. Announcement of the winning candidate from the multi-name list according to the number of preferential votes, of the electoral subject Coalition "Nisma Shqipëria Bëhet" for the Tirana District, as follows: 1. Adriatik Ferman Lapaj SHB.

4. The approval of the remaining candidates, who have not obtained a mandate on the multi-name list of the electoral subject Coalition "Initiative Albania Becomes" based on the ranking according to the number of preferential votes, starting from the highest number of votes and applying the gender criterion", is underlined, among other things, in the complaint of Albania Becomes.

Thus, Lapaj is calling on KAS to give him the mandate, which he claimed he would get from political bargaining with Endrit Shabani, with whom he already has a rift and ongoing clash./ CNA
