Albanian schools around the world/ Manastirliu: 27 thousand textbooks distributed to students

Over 27,000 textbooks have been distributed to students in Albanian language schools and classes around the world, 70% more than a year ago. The announcement was made by the Minister of Education and Sports, Ogerta Manastirliu.

Through a post on social networks, Manastirliu announced that Level II of the "Albanian Language and Albanian Culture" text, now standardized, has been completed this year.

Meanwhile, Level III for grades 7-8-9 has been completed and will be in the hands of students starting next school year.

There are about 400 schools and classes in different countries around the world where the Albanian language and culture are taught, keeping the connection with the mother tongue and roots alive among the younger generations. /CNA
