Democrat Dashnor Sula shared with us today his idea for change within the Democratic Party.

In an interview with A2CNN, Sula stated that the only person who can change the situation is the party leader, Sali Berisha, to whom he said he has requested his resignation.

Sula said that this is the solution for the DP not to be fragmented and for new, clean figures to be installed.

"I have asked for Mr. Berisha to resign, but it should be postponed to a later date. The only person who can keep the situation as it is in the DP, so that it does not fall apart is Mr. Berisha. Section, group section, branches and then elections in the DP branches, the secretariat and the vice-chairs. This process should be followed and led by Sali Berisha, with a working group that has no connection, they should not have any connection with the losing group, starting with the district leaders, or the General Secretary and below. They should be clean figures, and I even find a solution in those figures who were on the open list, but the candidates nominated on the open list who proved that the citizens give them their trust. So, parliamentary functions should be separated, so they should not be both deputies and have functions in the party. The base is forgotten, they do not have enough time to deal with the base", - said Sula./CNA
