Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of the latter's visit to Greece, where he will hold a meeting with Albanians.

Berisha claims that Rama's visit is a provocation, as he says that you cannot go to an uninvited country.

He declares that the head of the government is not respecting the Albanian tradition, as he is going to a place where he is not welcome.

"My friends, it is not necessary to comment on the meeting with the diaspora of an Albanian politician. It's the most normal thing. But when the meeting is organized as a provocation, you just have to condemn it.

First, we are Albanians. Neighbors with the Greeks in this region for thousands of years. But we have an expression as early as our hospitality itself: who finds without inviting, finds without laying. Repeatedly, the official Greek authorities have stated that Edi Rama is coming uninvited.

Of course, Greece is the cradle of democracy and does not imagine stopping gatherings or meetings. But Albanian tradition requires you to remember this principle of our hospitality. You can't go without being invited, even more so when you are informed that you are uninvited", emphasized the head of the DP./ CNA
