Anti-SPAK/Gjekmarkaj Commission: Ask Venice
Deputy Agron Gjekmarkaj

Deputy Agron Gjekmarkaj has reacted in relation to the majority resolution for the establishment of a special commission, which will actually be an anti-SPAK commission.

Gjekmarkaj said on Erla Mëhilli's show that the majority should have really invited the opposition to draft the resolution.

He stated that the SP cannot tell the opposition to sit at the table and accept their every initiative without consulting and discussing it.

Also, the deputy underlined that the majority should have received the opinion of the Venice Commission for the special commission.

"I think the opinion of the Venice Commission could have been taken and the opposition could have been invited to participate in this initiative, but participating. You can't put us in front of a fait accompli and tell us come be a part of this because I and the internationals want it. We still do not understand what it is, it is a reading by Mrs. Spiropali in the parliamentary group and a reading by Prime Minister Rama, where it was understood that he is building the electoral theses on two things, the alliance with SPAK, as he can do sacrifice all the deputies. I have doubts because for 11 years Rama has tried to keep the opposition away, to trap it, this thing is almost comical and cynical...", emphasized Gjekmarkaj./ CNA
