On the Day of Justice, at the joint annual meeting, the EU ambassador in Tirana, Silvio Gonzato, emphasized that the Justice Reform is irreversible, while underlining that SPAK must be supported by the government and institutions.

The EU ambassador underlined that a lot has been done with the Justice Reform, but of course there is still work to be done. 

"There are many reasons to celebrate today. The progress made by SPAK against corruption and organized crime. Purging corrupt prosecutors and judges from the justice system... It took a lot of courage to be proud of the work done by SPAK. The reform in Justice must be strengthened, consolidated and carried forward to have more results. These results serve the citizens. In this week of Europe we celebrated all over the country for inclusiveness in human rights. Albania has made important steps in all these areas. Justice reform is irreversible, and SPAK's achievements must be irreversible. Efforts to consolidate the achievements of SPAK must be supported by all components of the state, including the government. Much has been done with this reform, but of course there is still work to be done. I wanted to thank you for the work done. The EU supports justice institutions and will continue to do so. This meeting was held with the assistance of the EU. This is a fact that will continue the support to the EU", he said./ CNA
