Welcome to the wondrous land of Absurdistan, a place where reason is not remembered when it has taken ordinary leave, and where tranquility is considered an existential threat to the nation.

In this charming little country, brave, proud to have paved the way for history with a pen in hand, there are not one, not two, but 57 television stations and 13 of them are dedicated to news only. Yes, yes 13 just for "news".

13 is a third number, but the number of televisions with news/subtitles is only the tip of the iceberg.

If you turn on Absurdistan TV, you can easily see the same people talking around a table: These are called experts/analysts/commentators/contributors who don't know what they studied but how much they changed.

The special thing remains that even if they are invited every day or if they speak on the same day and at the same time on two or three stations at once, they never run out of words.

These "experts" grace the screens of Absurdistan at all hours of the day and night, engaging in heated debates that last for hours and ultimately achieve their goal by saying nothing.

Televisions in Absurdistan are not kept alive by commercials or purchased programs, but by "guests". The guest is the "King" who rules the realm of television absurdity.

Please pull out the calculator. A television that does "news" requires a minimum of 30 guests per day.

With these 30 guests, the morning, forenoon, lunch, afternoon, afternoon, evening and late evening program is filled.

This means a minimum of 1,000 guests per month, or nearly 12,000 per year for just one television.

Multiply that by a minimum of 10 television stations that follow this similar guest philosophy, and it becomes 100,000. (If Zelenski had this army, he would have returned to Russia in time)

Yes, who are the guests?
- Do they possess deep knowledge with which they inspire the nation?
- Are they distinguished scholars, professors, distinguished diplomats, standards of wisdom who are ready to lead the people to enlightenment?
-Do they have knowledge/expertise in a certain field?
No.

No, because there aren't enough people to call themselves experts, but because the real ones don't matter at all to an audience accustomed to the same television fodder called absurdity.

In Absurdistan, the majority of guests are an eclectic mix of self-proclaimed experts and charlatans who have long since left logic in the trunk of their car and head to the TV studios to make themselves heard.

Me idenë që “ky popull kështu e do”, debati I vërtetë është ulur në ndjenjësen e pasme të makinës, ndërsa timoni është lënë në duart e “mysafirëve”.

Këta të fundit ftohen për të “vrarë” kohën, ndërsa logjika, arsyeja dhe qetësia janë shënjestra e preferuar e tyre.

Sa më i papërgjegjshëm të jesh, aq më shumë i kërkuar do jesh, sa më gojështhurur të tregohesh aq më shumë do dalësh në qendër të vëmendjes, sa më idiot të shfaqesh aq më shumë do i rrisësh të ardhurat e mediave absurdistanase.

Teksa të gjithë fitojnë, viktima është publiku.

Është një spektakël që ndokush e ngatërron me farsën, por nuk është as njëra as tjetra, është ushqimi i përditshëm informativ që u serviret qytetarëve të Absurdistanit.

Ka një shpresë se gjendja mund të ndryshojë. Edhe “të ftuarit” po largohen nga Absurdistani dhe ka një pritshmëri se do të vijë një ditë që qytetarët e Absurdistanit do të dallojnë rëndësinë e thelbit mbi spektaklin, cilësisë mbi sasinë dhe do të mësohen të shijojnë një ligjërim të bukur apo debat me përmbajtje.

Frika është se “të ftuarit” që po largohen nga Absurdistani, do të zëvëndëoshen me “ të ftuar" nga vende të largëta si Tajlanda apo Sri Lanka. Ndërsa Banka Botërore llogarit se shumë shpejt numri i të ftuarve në Televizionet e Absurdistanit do të kalojë numrin e popullsisë së Absurdistanit ku si rregull realiteti ja kalon imagjinatës.

So, dear reader, if you're dying to visit the enchanting land of Absurdistan as a tourist, pick up your remote control, take a moment and appreciate the spectacle unfolding before your eyes. Guests may come and go, from one TV to another, but the circus goes on.
