Trump had more than an hour-long phone conversation with Putin

The President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, through a post on the "Truth Social" network, announced that he had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

In the post, Trump writes that the conversation lasted about 1 hour and 15 minutes, where Ukrainian attacks on air bases in Russia were discussed.

President Trump further says it was a good conversation, but it cannot lead to immediate peace.

 

Trump's post

I just finished speaking on the phone with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. The call lasted approximately an hour and 15 minutes. We discussed the attack on the Russian airliners anchored in Ukraine, as well as various other attacks that have occurred on both sides. It was a good conversation, but not one that will lead to immediate peace. President Putin said, and very strongly, that he will have to respond to the recent attack on the airports. We also discussed Iran and the fact that time is running out for Iran to make a decision on nuclear weapons, which must be made quickly! I told President Putin that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons, and on that, I believe we agreed. President Putin suggested that he would participate in the discussions with Iran and that perhaps he could be useful in reaching a quick conclusion. My opinion is that Iran has slowed down its decision on this very important issue and we will need a final answer in a very short period of time!
