Horror in Mexico/ The mayor is killed in a macabre way in Mexico

The mayor of Chilpancingo, capital of Guerrero state in southern Mexico, has been brutally murdered just 6 days after taking office.

The 43-year-old mayor had his head cut off and placed on the roof of a truck, according to a photo of the horrific scene that has been repeatedly shared on social networks.

"I unequivocally condemn the murder of the president of the municipal council of Chilpancingo, Alejandro Arcos Catalan, which was confirmed by the general prosecutor's office," said Governor Salgado through X.

His assassination came five days after the inauguration of President Claudia Sheinbaum, who is expected to present her national security plan tomorrow.
