A day after returning from Athens, where, together with other Church leaders, he visited the prelate at the "Annunciation" hospital, the Metropolitan of Korça, His Grace Joani, led a mass with prayers for the health of Archbishop Anastasios.

The Mass was special, also because on January 22, the Orthodox commemorate the day of Saint Anastasius the Persian, whose name is also borne by the head of the Albanian Autocephalous Orthodox Church.

"Today we have gathered to remember a very great saint and martyr, Saint Anastasius the Persian, and we have gathered for the health of Archbishop Anastasius, because he celebrated his name precisely in this saint."

And this saint is a very important indicator of our lives to truly understand the mystery of the cross. The mystery of the cross is something deeply spiritual.
