Blackmailed and insulted on "Tik-Tok"/ 35-year-old man declared wanted

FD from Shkodra has been declared wanted following investigations by the Specialists of the Cybercrime Investigation Section. The reason was the denunciation of a 33-year-old woman from Lezha, who said that this citizen had opened an account on "Tik-Tok", through which he insulted her and her family.

Immediately after the report, the "blues" of Lezha were put into action, making it possible to identify the person in question. He is a FD citizen residing in Shkoder and the police are working to locate and capture the 35-year-old as well as to verify this report.

The procedural materials regarding the case were transferred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Lezha, for further action.

According to sources, the citizen in question also blackmailed and insulted other girls.

The "Tik-Tok" platform is being seen as a concern for Albanian society, so Prime Minister Edi Rama has decided to close it for a 1-year period, but the decision has not yet been implemented. /CNA
