Accused of the Kardhiq-Delvinë tunnel affair/ SPAK demands one year in

The Special Prosecution Office is seeking a one-year prison sentence for the former director of the Albanian National Agency for the Protection of the Environment, Sonila Qato. The latter is accused of the affair in the Kardhiq-Delvinë road tunnel.

Another measure requested by SPAK is the ban on Qato from holding public office for the next five years.

Meanwhile, SPAK has also revealed the claim of the other defendants in this affair for violating equality in tenders and forging documents.

Thus, for Simon Prendin, 2 years in prison and another 3 years of not exercising any public function have been requested. The prosecution has requested for Elona Gogo 1 year in prison and another 5 years of not exercising any public function.

Erdit Salillari risks 9 months in prison and 5 years out of public functions. For Admir Pahumi, SPAK has requested 1 year in prison and 3 years of additional punishment.

For Nikollaq Mihali, SPAK is requesting a sentence of 8 months and 3 years out of public office. For Miranda Shkurti, 16 months of probation and 3 years out of public office. For Arbër Troka, SPAK has requested a sentence of 2 years in prison and 3 years out of public office.

For Almir Hoxhaj, SPAK has requested 2 years of imprisonment and for another 3 years not to hold public office. For Arjana Hasani, SPAK has requested 4 years of probation and for 5 years not to hold any public office. /CNA
