Yesterday, the head of the KLP, Alfred Balla, came out with an announcement and this institution supported the prosecutors in their work and the judges after the attacks made in the media against the latter, but also from politics, which after the creation of SPAK- ut has started to take tough stances towards him according to interests in most cases.
The position of the KLP has consistently been in defense of prosecutors and their work, but we have not seen a KLP, which actually has a tough attitude towards prosecutors, or investigates the latter, or control how they apply the law, so as not to turn into villains within the justice system.
The most flagrant case is that of Edvin Kondili with the issue of sterilization and with the former minister Ilir Beqaj. Alfred Balla and everyone else knows very well what this case is, where in court the prosecutor leads the measures and does not involve the minister.

The case is returned by the judge, then he brings back another lenient measure, although the judge again finds that there are other criminal offenses that are in the investigation file, but are not included in the security measure.
Edvin Kondili seems to be more in the role of a lawyer than a prosecutor towards Ilir Beqaj and the head of the KLP and the KLP should see and investigate this to give an answer to public opinion as to what the truth is, even though the prosecutor may be independent in the measures he requests.

In this case, we are facing a scandal because it is being shown that a prosecutor is defending an accused minister and so all the issues of Rama's ministers or government affairs should be given as much as possible to the prosecutor Kondili and we would not have neither Vangjush Dakon behind bars, nor the former deputy minister Arben Ahmetaj on the run, we would not have Lefter Koka behind bars, nor the deputy of the SP, Alqi Blako, and so on.
We would not have such officials who are being followed and are in handcuffs because of the strong standards that SPAK has set.
Someone has the floors there without permission and could not escape, he was not official, but he was left in prison. Someone else has fled because they are told that you have hidden wealth for bathroom tiles or apartments.
Someone else has not been pursued at large, even though he is the responsible person who was caught red-handed taking money from the incinerators' people, such as the cases of Alqi Bllakos and Lefter Koka.
It is enough that Edvin Kondili had all these files and these would be free people.
KLP cannot be silent and react simply and only at the moment when the ruling party or the majority rush their media against a judge because Jamarbër Malltezi was released, because Edvin Kondili rejects their standard.
These media did not react when Ilir Beqaj was not sent at all as a security measure, but they also came out to protect him.
Now they are attacking a judge who freed a person, who had recently developed his property and did not earn a penny from Albanian taxpayers' money, there is zero damage to the state budget.
The KLP does a very good job of protecting the prosecutors and demands that they exercise their duties with high responsibility, but is there responsibility in the case of Edvin Kondil?!/ CNA
