The Institute of Geosciences has announced that Albania will be affected by bad weather at the weekend. Heavy rainfall can create various problems as well as flooding in urban areas in Shkodër, Kukës and Lezhë districts.

In the districts of Dibër, Elbasan, Berat and Vlorë, rainfall with moderate to intense intensity is expected in some areas.

In the district of Kukës, the thickness in the mountainous areas has increased up to 20 cm and there are reports of problems on the axis with Peshkopi. So much so that due to the bad weather some villages have been left without electricity.

Minimum temperatures will fluctuate from -2-8 degrees, maximum temperatures are expected to be 9-11 degrees in the north and in low areas and near the coast 14-16°C.

"Severe Weather" announces that the winter storm will affect Greece, after which it will strengthen and become a major storm in Bulgaria, Romania, Moldova and Ukraine.
