Included in the "Buka" file with Ahmetaj/ Businessman appears in the GJKKO

Businessman Lirim Fejzollari appeared this Friday at the Special Court, where he will be questioned as a witness in the "Buka" case. 

Fezollari is the first on the list of witnesses, determined by the hearing held at the GJKKO in February of this year regarding the case.

In October 2023, it was reported that SPAK was investigating the businessman on suspicion that the latter was involved in affairs with the former government's No. 2, Ahmetaj, now on the run.

In November 2018, the then Minister of Economic Development, Arben Ahmetaj, ordered the cancellation of an auction held in 2015 for the sale of about 46 percent of the shares of the public company "Buka" sha to businessman Lirim Fezollari, who owned another 40 percent of the shares.

The decision to cancel this auction was following a final decision, previously taken by the Administrative Appeals Court. However, this decision, although it has the signature and seal of the minister, does not appear to have been officially reflected. /CNA
