Prime Minister Edi Rama participated today in a conversation about wages, employment and sectors that help grow the Albanian economy.

Rama stated that the construction sector has brought about a transformation of Albania, while adding that there are also problems and shortcomings in it.

Among other things, he said that it is unacceptable that the construction sector, despite its problems, "is included in the framework of crime and mud is thrown at it."

"Today there is a stable growth balance. There are jobs that pay the same as in Europe. This whole transformative reality in the construction sector also supports its growth and the growing economy. Unfortunately, like everything in this country that is attacked when it appears successful, that is hit when it emerges as a change, it is a sector that constantly receives blows and attacks. It hurts a large number of its protagonists. Even in the construction sector, as in any other country, including the countries that make us laugh, there are problems. In Albania, the problems are more acute. Not everything in the construction sector is clean and clear, but to put this success and transformation of Albania that this sector makes visible in the framework of crime is something disgusting and unacceptable. There are many reasons why Albania can do such constructions. It is impossible for some to accept Albania's success, but it is impossible for us to accept that most of those who invest in construction put themselves in "the mud curve," Rama said. /CNA
