GJKKO rejects Malltez's request, does not return his phone

On Thursday, the Special Court rejected the request of the son-in-law of former Prime Minister Sali Berisha, Jamarbër Malltezi, for the return of the phone.

It is learned that Malltezi had requested the return of the phone and computers and some other written materials, seized by SPAK during the day of the arrest. 

But judge Irena Gjoka upheld the seizure measure with the argument that the above items were seized as material evidence. 

The Special Court has decided the "prison arrest" measure for Malltez on the charge of active corruption in the case of the privatization of the former "Partizani" complex. All accusations have been denied by the son-in-law of the former prime minister. 

In the meantime, for the former prime minister Sali Berisha, the court has given the mandatory appearance measure and it has been decided that he must appear twice a month in BKH.

The complaints of Sali Berisha and Jamarbër Malltez about the security measures will be reviewed by the GJKKO Appeal on November 20 at 09:00. It is learned that it will be the judge Iliriana Olldashi who will examine the appeals./ CNA
