Albania has been elected a member of the UNESCO Executive Board for the period 2023-2027.
The news was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani.
Hasani thanks all the member states who entrusted this important responsibility and says that we expect to cooperate closely with all the members of the Board, in the spirit of dialogue and consensus.
"In a world torn apart by multiple crises, we need more than ever to invest in peace. UNESCO's role is more necessary than ever. Gratitude to Ambassador Besiana Kadare and the staff of the MEPJ for the excellent work," says Hasani./ CNA
