A year after the former mayor of Fier, Fredi Kokoneshi, and his driver were hit by Orgest Xhelili, the Prosecutor's Office of Fier has closed the investigations and has sent this case for trial.
Xhelili is suspected of being the author of the wounding of former mayor Fredi Kokoneshi and the latter's driver, Miri Bullari.
On November 11 of last year, Orgest Xhelili, the former IT employee of the municipality of Divjaka, wounded Kokonesh and his driver with a knife.
The Fier Prosecutor's Office accuses Xhelili of the criminal offenses "Murder of public officials" remaining in the attempt, "Deliberate serious injury"./ CNA
