Fake news about Balla's sister/ Deputy Speaker of Parliament: Whoever

A few days ago, fake news flooded the media, reporting that the operation at the call center was related to the sister of the leader of the SP parliamentary group, Taulant Balla, Alba Balla.

In a reaction to CNA, Alba Balla categorically denied, indicating that the produced news was fake news and a political attack. Ms. Balla emphasized that she had nothing to do with any of the controlled entities and stated that she had never entered the tower where the offices were said to be located, much less that there were offices in that building.

"I neither know it, nor have I any idea, I am at home with my children, nor have I ever had any connection in my life with the 'call center' or their people. Nor with the building, I have never entered that building and I no longer have an office," Alba Balla declared to CNA.

The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament, Klodiana Spahiu, has also reacted to the circulating fake news, stating at the meeting of the Conference of Speakers that mechanisms must be found so that in cases such as this, the people who orchestrate fake news can take criminal responsibility.

"The Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, in her speech at the Conference of Speakers, focused on issues related to disinformation and fake news. Over the weekend, we witnessed a completely untrue news story without any facts that targeted the family of the Chairman of the SP Group. The media that served this news, even though they were made aware of the truth, continued to spread the slanders thrown by Berisha and other opposition representatives. What happened is unacceptable. Mechanisms must be found so that in cases such as this, the persons who orchestrate such fake news take responsibility, even criminally," said the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Klodjana Spahiu./ CNA
