"Prices are rising, wages are still low"/ Teliti: Current policies do

The advisor for economic affairs in the Democratic Party, Dorian Teliti, in a reaction on social networks, states that prices are increasing every day, while salaries and pensions still remain low.

Teliti said that families today can barely afford to live and young people are leaving Albania en masse.

According to him, the solution to this situation is the 4 billion euro package 2026-2040, which starts from supporting families to stopping immigration. He emphasizes that the 4 billion euro package will make it possible to live in Albania, not to abandon it.

Full announcement:

4 BILLION EURO PACKAGE 2026–2040, FROM PROPAGANDA TO SOLUTION!

We live in difficult times. Prices are rising every day, salaries and pensions remain the lowest in the region, families can barely afford to live, young people are leaving Albania en masse, this is the economic & social reality of Albanians today. Albania is becoming poorer and more empty, because current policies do not produce well-being, but impoverishment and emigration.

The Democratic Party's 4 billion euro 2026–2040 package is the political alternative to this failed model and addresses the root of a number of problems, starting with:

Real support for families – birth bonuses, monthly payments for children, and relief from education and health expenses.

Fiscal relief for young people – starting with the exemption from TAP for young people.

Affordable housing for young couples – soft loans and direct housing subsidies.

Local jobs and production – concrete support for agriculture, rural areas and the opening of new production lines.

Return and stay in Albania – concrete policies to stop emigration and return Albanians to their homeland.

The 4 billion euro package will make it possible to live with dignity in Albania, not to abandon it.

The 4 billion euro package is one more reason to protest on January 24, as Albania needs a change of course and a long-term vision. / CNA
