Former Democratic Party candidate for MP, Aulon Kalaja, has announced that the government has begun distributing compensation for the 2017 floods in Fushë-Krujë, while there have been several floods since then.

Kalaja states in a video posted on social media that these compensations are not being distributed equally as many citizens do not have their names on the list despite having suffered a lot of damage.

He expresses his hope that the distribution of these compensations will be like the distribution of earthquake funds.

The government is distributing flood compensation. Very good! But this is about the 2017 flood, there have been other floods in the meantime.

The citizens of Fushë-Krujë demand transparency. Today I have received many complaints from several families whose names are not on the list. The water has damaged their house and business and the neighbor receives compensation, while the other does not. Why are they playing with double standards and who made this unfair selection?!
