AMP arrests the police inspector in Saranda/ He caused a car accident, he was driving while drunk

The Police Supervision Agency has continued the implementation of the Monitoring Plan, with the aim of supervising the activity of the AMP subjects in terms of the performance and behavior of Police employees in the community, as well as respecting the norms and rules of ethics.

On November 15, the Police Surveillance Agency (Vlora-Gjirokastër Region) carried out the arrest in flagrante delicto of the Police Inspector DP, with the duty of Service Corps at the Borsh Border Police Station.

Yesterday, around 18:00 in the city of Saranda, while driving his private vehicle, he lost control and had an accident.

After performing the alcohol test, he was found to be drunk at 1.1 mg/l.

There were no injured persons from the accident.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Sarandë for the criminal offense of "Driving the vehicle in an irregular manner".
